Following the government’s recent announcement that all non-essential retailers can start to reopen, Burton’s Market Hall will open its doors to shoppers on Monday 15th June.
This follows the successful reopening of Burton’s outdoor market on Thursday 4th June. Like the outdoor market, there will be strict social distancing measures and a one way system in place, which all visitors are requested to observe at all times. There will also be hand sanitiser points at the entrance and exit.
Traders will also operate their own safety measures, which will include limiting numbers at each stall. Visitors are also asked to pay by card where possible.

Cllr Edward Barker, Deputy Leader for Leisure, Culture and Tourism said:
“We look forward to welcoming people back to Burton Market Hall and have put measures in place to help facilitate social distancing so customers can shop safely. Obviously the changes may take time to get used to and we ask everyone to be patient and respectful to others.”
