From Gin to Hand Sanitisers

Neilsanitiser

With the recent sanitiser shortages across the country, one local distillery from Uttoxeter, Staffordshire has decided to lend a hand.

Known normally for its multi award-winning craft spirits and its highly coveted Gin & Vodka School – Nelson’s Distillery & School has turned to producing and delivering hand sanitisers to those most in need.

Founder of Nelson’s, Neil Harrison has been personally hand delivering supplies to the vulnerable residents of Clifton Village. Adhering to all governments distancing guidelines.

A box of hand sanitisers has also been dropped off by Neil to the district Nurses of St Oswald Hospital, Ashbourne. And a delivery is in the post for the Police at Stafford Police headquarters.

Neil Harrison: "Just doing my bit for the NHS, key workers and those most vulnerable. Testing times for everyone·at the moment. Everyone should do what they can to help out."

The hand sanitisers are designed to smell like Nelson’s treble award winning Timur Gin.

Timur is a potent ingredient part of the Szechuan Pepper Family that offers a citric aroma not to dissimilar to grapefruit. Nelson’s is the only distillery known to use this ingredient in its gin.

Customers can get their hands on their very own limited edition Timur Scented hand sanitizer by making a purchase of over £30 through Nelson’s online shop. 1 FREE bottle will be added to every order that meets this requirement. (Sanitiser cannot be bought)

However with the recent influx of requests for key workers limited supplies are left. nelsonsdistillery.co.uk/shop/
