Cheadle SMUFC Chairman, Ian Morton, was pleased to donate soft drinks, sweets and chocolate to Cheadle and District Foodbank last week on behalf of the volunteers, children and families from the football club. 

On learning that the foodbank was short of some essential items, Ian also purchased sugar, coffee and other goods to the value of £50 which were also donated. 

Ian stated “Cheadle SMUFC gets so much support from our local community that we decided that we wanted to give something back at this challenging time. Many children and families are finding it hard so we felt that some treats for the children would be welcomed along with some other essential items.”
